Hero
Personality
“Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak. Courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” – Winston Churchill
Overview
The Hero is here to save the day — they exist to protect.
If they had a mantra it would be lifted straight from the police motto of “To protect and serve.”
They are there before trouble comes, stand as a guardian, and make sure trouble never touches those that they care about.
Safety, privacy, conservation, and security are at the forefront of their mission.
While they can often have cross over with the Caregiver the biggest difference is that the Hero doesn’t let harm get close enough to touch people.
If harm has come (ie. WWF) they come in to save the day.
While health can be a part of what the Hero can bring it is a result, not the cause, of what they do. They seek first to protect and save the day.
They know when to hand others over to the Caregiver, and it is after they have vanquished the evils that bring hurt, pain, and overall bad karma.
While the world is a big place, the Hero’s mission isn’t always grandiose. They understand that sometimes they just need to be a good neighbor — the neighborhood watch, the shoulder to cry on, the one who you can trust.
If something threatens their people they will respond with “not on my watch!”
